Here's another of my RMXP video event tutorials. In this tutorial, I show you how to create a basic gathering quest using events and variables. It's very easy and even beginners can figure this one out. I hope it helps you!

Update! 2 New RMXP Tutorials this Weekend!

Okay, there isn't going to be a new tutorial today as promised in my last news post. I just don't have the time during the week anymore. I should have taken this into consideration but I so wanted to get this done for you guys.

However, there is good news. I'll be making 2 new tutorials this weekend. The mushroom gathering quest is still on the plate and I'll be doing 1 mapping tutorial as well. If there are no more requests on the request thread by this weekend, I'll do the first requested mapping tutorial.

RPG Maker XP Resources - Tilesets - Port Town Recolors

Here are a few RMXP Port town recolored tilesets I did last night. I think they turned out pretty well. Use them if you like. Although you might not want to use the slightly blue trees on the last one. I didn't feel like fixing it but you could always use it for an enchanted atmosphere or some such thing. Enjoy!

Computer Problems - Slight Delay on This Week's Tutorial

Hi, guys! My old monitor finally bit the dust so I won't have a tutorial for you until tomorrow. I'm going to get a new monitor now but won't have time to do a tutorial tonight. Look out tomorrow, though, as I've got a basic quest tutorial coming.

I'll be detailing how to make a mushroom gathering quest for your hero to complete and we'll be using several different events. It will be lots of fun and hopefully give you a few ideas on how to create your own gathering quests in your games.

New Tutorial Monday

There is a delay on tutorials this week. I had to leave town for a family emergency and just made it back. I'll be making a new Tutorial on Monday and will have it posted by late Monday night.

What is it?, you ask. Well, I only had one request in my request thread this week. Not much traffic to the new blog yet, I suppose. I had several requests on Twitter but I don't know which one I'm gonna choose yet. It'll be a surprise!
